Information
Long and Marshall Ltd. is a tightly focused, customer orientated mechanical precision engineering company based in Havant, Hampshire.
Over the last 31 years we have developed our knowledge base and experience in providing machining solutions for complex and fine tolerance parts, particularly for the Aerospace and Defence industries.
We specialise in very close tolerance production of "more complex" components, often from exotic materials and have full 5-axis milling capability, CNC-driven tool lathes and mill-turn machining centres. Our standard CNC machines comfortably produce straightforward parts. We are fully equipped with all of the necessary backup: cylindrical & surface grinding, drilling, sparking, assembly, etc.
Long and Marshall's ethos is supported by an excellent staff loyalty, training and regular investment in the latest technology. Our clearly defined aim is to maximise the use of emergent information technology, and this is reflected by our extensive use of Computerised Integrated Management Systems (CIMS).
Our BSI ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100 approval and numerous other customer accreditations support Long and Marshall's enviable reputation for very high standards of workmanship and systems control. This consistent quality, close customer liaison, on-time deliveries and attention to detail enables the company to assist their principal delivery deadlines and provide a rapid response to any express machining requirements.
